Terms of Membership Benefits

When you join Pohjois-Karjalan Osuuskauppa (PKO) as a co-op member, you’ll receive exclusive joining benefits to help you explore the services your local co-op has to offer.These benefits are available only to individuals:
  • Joining PKO as a co-op member for the first time
  • Living in PKO’s operating area, which includes: Ilomantsi, Joensuu, Juuka, Kitee, Kontiolahti, Lieksa, Liperi, Nurmes, Outokumpu, Polvijärvi, Rautavaara, Rääkkylä, and Tohmajärvi
You are also eligible if you transfer your membership from another co-op to PKO and meet the above conditions (i.e. you live in PKO’s area and have not previously been a PKO member). You can transfer your membership via S-mobile (Me > My Info > Membership Details), your S-user account, or by visiting your nearest Customer Ownership & S-Bank Service Point.

Receiving Your Benefits

If you join online, your benefit coupons and S-Benefit Card will be mailed to you within approximately two weeks. If you join at a PKO service point or in S-Biili, you’ll receive your coupons and card immediately.Coupons are personal and must be used together with your S-Benefit Card at the time of purchase. Benefits can be used only once, are non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or gift cards. Not for resale.

Membership Benefits Include:

  • 1 × €15 voucher for use at PKO locations (excluding PK Terveys) – Valid for 2 weeks from the joining date (3 weeks if joining online)
  • 1 × €15 voucher for PKO locations (excluding PK Terveys) – Valid until 31 May 2026
  • 1 × €15 voucher for Sokos Joensuu – Valid until 31 May 2026
  • 2 × Free car washes – Valid at: ABC Siihtala, ABC Nurmes, ABC Kitee, ABC Outokumpu – Valid until 31 May 2026
  • 2 × Free ABC à la carte meals – Valid at: ABC Marjala, ABC Siihtala, ABC Kontiolahti, ABC Kitee, ABC Juuka, ABC Nurmes – Valid until 31 May 2026
