  • Read the application instructions and submit your application accordingly. Our application instructions can be found here.
  • Be sure to mention in your application any times during the summer when you are available to work. Our interviewers make their selections immediately after the interview and determine the young person’s summer work period on the spot. The working hours are determined based on the information provided in the application, and this information is, of course, confirmed during the interview.
  • Double-check that you’ve entered your contact details correctly on the application, and use your own personal email address. For data protection reasons, we do not discuss matters related to a summer job application with anyone other than the applicant. This means that even a parent cannot enquire on behalf of a young person. The applicant must contact us directly.
  • Make sure you understand what job you’re applying for and at which location. Our summer employees perform the same tasks as those in longer-term positions, taking into account the applicant’s age and skill level. Descriptions of jobs we offer can be found here.
  • In your application, include a concise statement explaining why you’re the right person for the summer job.
  • Briefly describe your previous work experience and educational background in your application, either by writing it out or attaching your CV.
  • Complete your application yourself. It doesn’t have to be perfect, but it should reflect your true self.
  • Only apply for jobs at locations where you can get to all your shifts on your own.
  • Keep an eye on your personal email after submitting your application and respond to any follow-up questions. Check to ensure that you’ve received a confirmation email acknowledging the receipt of your application. If one of our emails ends up in your spam folder, it’s likely that future messages will, too.
  • Cancel your interview if you are unable to attend for any reason.
  • Withdraw your application if you have already secured a summer job elsewhere.
And most importantly: apply for summer jobs on time – we cannot accept applications after the deadline.
