By offering summer jobs, we promote the vitality of the province and act in accordance with our value of the common good.We expect our summer workers to have a desire to learn new things, a cheerful and smiling customer service attitude, and enthusiasm and courage to meet customers.Our summer workers do not have to be professionals, but a lively and positive attitude is crucial! We familiarize our summer workers with all work tasks.Every year, we also select summer workers on social grounds and employ special needs and young people with developmental disabilities who would otherwise have difficulty finding employment.For several years, PKO has also made summer work possible for young people with a strong need for special support, by hiring a supervisor to guide the young person's work. The supervisor of a special needs youth does not act as a personal assistant, but rather his or her task is to ensure that the young person's work goes as smoothly as possible and to guide the young person in their work tasks.
