Coca-Cola Christmas Truck Brings Holiday Magic to Prisma Joensuu on December 4, 2025
The hugely popular Coca-Cola Christmas Truck is touring Finland again this November and December, bringing festive cheer to ten locations. This year, the Christmas Truck will also visit Joensuu on Thursday, December 4, from 3:30 PM to 7:30 PM in the Prisma Joensuu parking area.
The Coca-Cola Christmas Truck is an authentic American Kenworth truck from 1978, which has been based in Finland since the 1980s. The truck is adorned with 10,000 LED lights and features the iconic Coca-Cola Santa Claus originally illustrated by Finnish-born artist Haddon Sundblom, whose design shaped the modern image of Santa worldwide. The truck measures 17 meters in length and 2.6 meters in width.Visitors can admire the truck, take photos, enjoy Coca-Cola, and join fun activities such as decorating Christmas cards or posing at the photo booth. You can also play the recycling roulette with empty cans for a chance to win prizes while supporting a good cause. All proceeds from can deposits will be donated to the Finnish Red Cross “Good Holiday Spirit” campaign, which helps low-income families with children.The Coca-Cola Christmas Truck event welcomes guests of all ages. Coca-Cola is committed to not marketing its drinks to children under 13. Therefore, children under 13 are welcome to enjoy the festive atmosphere and drinks only when accompanied by a guardian.The event will take place in the Prisma Rauta parking lot. A large turnout is expected, so please allow extra time for possible traffic congestion.
